 The software enables students to schedule patient appointments; create, edit, and update patient records; generate prescription, lab, and imaging orders; perform medical coding and billing functions; post charges, payments, and disbursements; and produce accounting detail reports. The Care module is used to schedule appointments; produce, print, or transmit precriptions; and produce laboratory and imaging orders. The Patient module is used to create and update patient records, display patient lists, and access patient histories and medications. The Billing module is used to enter charges and fees; post payments; produce invoices; and display patient account detail. A built-in Code Finder is used to quickly determine medical billing codes. The Suppliers module is used to create and update supplier records, enter disbursements, and display supplier account detail. The included working data includes patient records, prescriptions, lab orders, x-ray/CT orders, billing codes, supplier records, and accounting data. A detailed Student Guide includes detailed software documentation, entry guidelines, tutorials, and interactive exercises. The guide is provided in portable document file (PDF) format, and can be displayed or printed.
