Virtual Airline is a standalone educational simulation of an airline data system, enabling students to book, store, modify, and ticket reservations using any computer or work station. All records created by students are kept in storage until the instructor chooses to delete them. Entry formats and responses are identical to those of the simulated airline system.

Used in conjunction with the exercises provided, the simulation environment provides an accurate, interactive learning system for automated reservations and ticketing, frequent flyer maintenance, and information access. Instructors may use the exercises without modification, adapt them to their individual requirements, or design new exercises using the samples as a guide. A database of sample flight schedules and fares enables students to obtain flight availability and fare displays.

Hardware Requirements

Windows (any version) and 20 Mb available data storage. Simulated e-ticket/receipts may be printed using any type of printer.
